Why did you participate in the 100,000 Meter Challenge last year?

"Our family has actually participated in the 100KMC since 2017. For me, it was a way to keep a sense of wellness during the holidays. Life gets so busy for my sons and their families too, so we have all used the challenge to stay on track with our fitness routines each season.

How did you find time during the holidays to get workouts in?

"My husband and I chose to turn our casual daily dog walk into a brisk walking routine. Most of our meters came from simply turning that existing time into deliberate exercise. We mapped out a longer 3 miles route in our neighborhood and tried to finish it in 45-50 minutes."

Did you sign up alone or were you a part of a team?

"I signed up with some of my friends from work. Two of us worked out together regularly but the others all logged their own meters on their own. Everyone had their different gym memberships or worked out at home. The dashboards made it easy for us to see how everyone was doing."

Event Decal + Milestones
